Box Office: "Thor" Ousts "Fast Five" as Top Movie

Pacing quite nicely, as was expected, "Thor" is on track to claim the top spot at the box office over the weekend of May 6-8, 2011.

The Chris Hemsworth/Natalie Portman starring comic book based warrior picture raked in $25.5 million on Friday while setting up an estimated $65 million weekend take.

Following a gigantic opening weekend seven days ago with $83.6 million, the Vin Diesel action caper "Fast Five" was bumped to second place while aimed towards a follow-up haul of $34 million.

Rounding out the projected top five at the box office are "Jumping the Broom" ($16 million), followed by the Kate Hudson romantic comedy "Something Borrowed" ($13 million) and the Anne Hathaway animated movie "Rio" ($10 million).
